P1 Buddy Programme Group 1

Hello Readers,

Let us introduce ourselves. We are from Group 1 and we are going to talk about the P1 Buddy Programme, which was held in January 2013. The objective of the programme is for the P1 pupils be more familiar with the school facilities and how to go about buying their food during recess. Let us share some thing that had happened during the programme......

I am Yee Cheng Han. I helped my buddy to buy food and ate with him. I took him to explore the school so he would know the school facilities. My buddy is quite funny because he kept buying ice-cream but one day, he bought a chicken burger.

I am Jimmy Ng. My buddy's name is Hong Wei Xiang. He is from P1.6. When the teacher was going to let us choose our buddies, I was nervous as this was the first time I was in the programme and I do not have the experience of being a P5 buddy. But when I met my buddy, I started to feel that it was not as difficult as I thought it would be. My buddy's favourite food is noodles. Most of the days in that week, he would buy yellow noodles from the noodles stall. My buddy is very obedient as he will always stay close to me and will not run off without telling me. My buddy would also play catch with me and his friends and I would show him around the school after he had eaten. The experience with my buddy have taught me to be more responsible and to be a good role model to the younger pupils in my school.

Hi! My name is Syafiq. My buddies are very nice. They are sometimes obedient. I like the way they behave. I taught them everything I knew being a buddy. I know what to do because I also once had a buddy.

I am Rhoda Chia.My buddy's name is Alan Fong. My buddy is very cute. I taught Alan how to buy food at the stalls and how to wash his hands . Alan is quite a fast-learner.I even walked around the school with Alan and showed some of the parts in school. I quite like being a buddy.
